Completed Human Resource Degree or Industrial/Labour Relations Degree or Law Degree.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Bargaining Council Main Agreements and Sectoral Determinations, in addition to the application thereof in practice.
Own transport, valid driver’s licence and willing to travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OUTPUTS:
Chairing disciplinary inquires, facilitating incapacity investigations and grievances.
Assisting companies in restructuring and processes related to operational requirements.
Representing companies at the CCMA and Bargaining Councils in Conciliations and Arbitrations.
Consulting and advising clients on compliance with relevant labour legislation.
Consulting and advising on all IR related issues.
Negotiations with unions on behalf of companies.
Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
Problem solving and critical reasoning skills.
Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills.
Time management and able to perform under pressure.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING FIELDS IS ADVANTAGEOUS:
General IR or Labour Law experience
