DANSHAW LAUNCH NEW SERVICE FOR BUSINESSES IN THE MOTOR INDUSTRY
With effect of 1 September 2008, we commenced a new service aimed at those businesses that falls within the scope of the Motor Industry Bargaining Council (MIBCO).
This service will be headed by Arno Erasmus who for the past nine years had been managing the Regional Legal Department of MIBCO in the Western Cape.
The service will entail on site advice and assistance with regards to the various MIBCO main and administrative agreements.
In its present form the MIBCO main collective and administrative agreements consists of several divisions each containing several chapters and sectors.
It has become increasingly clear to us that a lot of employers whose businesses operate within this sector are unclear with regards to the dangers of not complying with the main and administrative agreements.
Apart from assisting businesses to become fully compliant, the service will entail an ongoing process to ensure that these businesses stay compliant.
